Agoda is an online travel agency based in Bangkok, Thailand. It focuses on Southeast Asia. Customers use it to book hotel rooms, flights, ground transportation, and activities in one place, mainly for leisure travel.
Two American entrepreneurs, Michael Kenny and Robert Rosenstein, started Agoda in 2005. Booking Holdings bought the company in 2007. That backing gives Agoda access to a much bigger travel network and more funding than a standalone startup would have.1
