Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of InterviewOS. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

The service

InterviewOS is a job-search platform: it ranks companies and job listings against your resume, helps you track applications through a pipeline, offers AI-assisted resume review and outreach drafting, and connects you with paid 1:1 advisory sessions with independent advisors. The free tier includes the full company database, fit scores, and guides; Pro adds AI features for a monthly subscription; advisory sessions are billed separately, per session.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use InterviewOS (see Privacy Policy, Children's privacy).

If you turn on job emails, we send up to three a week with new roles that fit your targets. You can change the cadence or stop them at any time in Settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape or bulk-extract data from the product beyond what's offered as a public download; misuse the platform to harass, defraud, or impersonate anyone; upload content you don't have the right to upload; attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service; or use InterviewOS's AI features to generate content that is fraudulent, deceptive, or violates a third party's rights.

Subscriptions & billing

• Free is free indefinitely — the full company database, fit scores, and guides, no credit card required.
• Pro is a paid monthly subscription that adds AI-assisted features. New accounts automatically receive a 7-day trial of Pro at signup, with no card required; after the trial the account reverts to Free unless you subscribe.
• Subscribing bills your payment method immediately through Stripe and renews monthly until cancelled. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by InterviewOS.
• You can cancel anytime from account settings via the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your data is not deleted just because you cancel.
• Advisory sessions are pay-per-session, no subscription required, billed at the time of booking.

Advisory sessions

1:1 advisory sessions connect you with independent advisors for resume feedback, mock interviews, and career guidance. Advice given in these sessions is informational only — it is not a guarantee of employment, an offer, or professional legal, financial, or immigration advice, and advisors are not InterviewOS employees acting on the company's behalf.

Company & hiring data

Company pages, the H-1B sponsors directory, and the Hiring Velocity Index are built from public government records and job listings collected from company career sites, as described on About the data. This data is provided "as is," may contain errors, gaps, or delays, and is not a guarantee of current sponsorship practices or hiring status. See Press & data requests to report a correction.

Intellectual property

InterviewOS and its content, design, and product features are owned by InterviewOS or its licensors. You retain ownership of the documents and content you upload (like your resume); by uploading, you grant InterviewOS a license to use that content solely to operate and improve the service for you.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

InterviewOS is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that fit scores, AI-generated content, or hiring/sponsorship data are accurate, complete, or current, or that using InterviewOS will result in a job offer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, InterviewOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using InterviewOS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date below.
