General information

Aviation Institute of Maintenance is an accredited network of trade schools based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, offering aviation career training. It runs 15 ACCSC-accredited campuses across the United States. Programs include Aviation Maintenance Technician certification at every campus, an Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology, and Avionics Technician certification, alongside trade programs in welding, electrical technology, industrial manufacturing and HVAC systems.

Founded in 1969, AIM connects graduates to placement opportunities with major airlines including Southwest, United, American, Delta and JetBlue. For students, that pipeline into named carriers is a concrete link between training and a first aviation maintenance job.1
