David Morken founded Bandwidth in 1999; Henry Kaestner joined as co-founder in 2001. The company went public on Nasdaq under the ticker BAND after its IPO in November 2017. In October 2020, it bought Voxbone for an enterprise value of €446 million. Bandwidth now has about 1,200 employees worldwide.
