Charm Industrial

Charm Industrial captures CO2 from the atmosphere using plants and biomass. It converts biomass into a stable, carbon-rich liquid and pumps it deep underground for permanent storage, using a process called fast pyrolysis. Orca is its direct air capture facility, capturing up to 4,000 tons of CO2 annually. Mammoth is its largest facility, capturing up to 36,000 tons of CO2 annually.

In 2023 Charm received a $54 million advanced market commitment from Frontier Climate to sequester 112,000 tons of CO2, plus $100 million in Series B funding. In January 2025 it secured what it called the largest carbon removal contract ever purchased, with Google.¹
