It offers printed circuit board assembly, interconnect solutions, and supply chain services, plus design, new product introduction, and after-market support. The company began in 1989 as Creation Studios, a music recording studio in North Vancouver, then switched to contract manufacturing in 1991 under founders Barry Henderson, Geoff Reed, Paul Clark, and Dave Pettigrew. It grew through acquisitions across North America and China between 2003 and 2012. Lindsay Goldberg, a private equity firm, bought Creation Technologies in July 2019. By 2023 it had more than 3,000 employees across 13 manufacturing operations.
