Experian is a credit reporting and financial services company based in Dublin, Ireland. It offers credit reports, credit scores, monitoring tools, identity theft protection, and digital checking and savings accounts. Experian also works as a credit bureau, providing data analytics and fraud detection.
Experian began in 1996, when TRW sold its Credit Data Corporation unit to private investors. It demerged from GUS plc in October 2006 and later bought companies including 41st Parameter and Clarity Services. Experian trades on the London Stock Exchange (ticker EXPN) and sits in the FTSE 100 Index. It has 21,700 employees and made $8.445 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2026. That matters: Experian's size and public listing give it money to keep buying data and fraud-detection firms.
Currently, there's a total of 467 job openings at Experian. Over the last 30 days, 516 jobs were added and 373 were removed (job postings usually stay up ~4 days before being removed). Experian is a top-tier H-1B sponsor.1
