The company also offers an Islamic Banking Solution, a Sharia-compliant banking platform. ICS Financial Systems is based in Amman, Jordan.
The company began operations in 1978, as part of the larger ICS Group. In 1981, it won its first major project: building a complete banking system for a major bank in Saudi Arabia. It launched the ICS BANKS platform in 1995, which became the base for its later products. That early project set the pattern the company still follows: building core banking software for banks in the Middle East and beyond.1
