incident.io
Hiring · 35 open jobsGeneral information
incident.io builds software that helps companies handle outages and system failures. Its tools cover the whole incident: on-call management routes alerts to the right engineer, an investigations feature uses AI to suggest root causes, and status pages update customers automatically. It also plugs into Slack and Microsoft Teams so teams can manage incidents where they already work. Customers include Zendesk, Netflix and Etsy. The company is based in London, with a second office in San Francisco.
incident.io started as a side project in 2020 and was founded in 2021 by Stephen Whitworth, Chris Evans and Pete Hamilton. Evans had run incident management at Monzo. The company raised $5.5 million in seed funding, then a $28.7 million Series A, then a $62 million Series B led by Insight Partners at a $400 million valuation. That matters more than it sounds: with over $96 million raised, the company can keep hiring engineers instead of cutting costs. The team has grown past 200 people across its UK and US offices. incident.io is an H-1B sponsor.1
