Kaseya was founded in 2000 in California by Mark Sutherland and Paul Wong, who had worked together on a National Security Agency project. It serves over 40,000 customers in more than 150 countries and manages more than 17 million endpoints. Insight Partners, a private equity firm, owns a majority stake, with Rania Succar as CEO since June 2025. Kaseya has about 5,000 employees.
