Keycard is a platform for managing access control for AI agents. It resolves identity, enforces policy, and issues scoped access when agents request tools, APIs or data. Its keycard run CLI controls shell commands, scripts and API calls, injecting credentials in memory. Keycard also streams agent actions, tool calls and policy decisions to security tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
Keycard was founded by Ian Livingstone (CEO), Jared Hanson (technology) and Matthew Creager (product and marketing). Hanson previously created Passport.js.1
