Kioxia Holdings was established on March 1, 2019, though the business began as Toshiba Memory Corporation, which started operating on April 1, 2017. As of March 31, 2026, Toshiba Corporation is still the largest shareholder, holding 17.59% of the company. Kioxia Holdings had 15,218 consolidated employees as of that date.
