Legora is a legal technology company based in Stockholm. Its collaborative AI platform helps lawyers with document review, legal research, drafting and client delivery. It has more than 375 employees, over 1,480 customers, and operates in more than 30 markets.
Legora was founded in 2023 by Max Junestrand, Sigge Labor and August Erséus as a Swedish legal technology firm. It was first called Leya, then renamed Legora in February 2025. In March 2026 it acquired the Canadian firm Walter AI and reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue, with a $5.55 billion valuation. That matters: fast revenue growth and a big valuation let Legora buy other AI legal firms instead of just competing with them.
Currently, there's a total of 281 job openings at Legora. Over the last 30 days, 90 jobs were added and 85 were removed (job postings usually stay up ~17 days before being removed). Legora is an H-1B sponsor.1
