Linamar Corporation is a diversified manufacturer of engineered products for vehicles, motion, and industrial work. It casts, forges, and machines metal parts, and builds precision automation and robotics systems. Linamar supplies these parts and systems to industrial and automotive customers. The company is based in Guelph, Canada.

Frank Hasenfratz, a Hungarian refugee, founded the company in 1966. He named it Linamar after his daughters Linda and Nancy and his wife Margaret. Linamar trades publicly on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker LNR. It runs 87 facilities in 19 countries, with more than 37,000 employees, and reported $6.5 billion in revenue in 2021. That means a company started by one refugee now employs tens of thousands of workers worldwide.
