Minerva Project

Minerva Project partners with universities and colleges to modernize higher education, based in San Francisco. It offers Institutional Architecture and Program Design to redesign degree programs, Faculty Development to train professors, and the Forum platform, its own online teaching tool. Customers are colleges and universities looking to update how they teach.

Ben Nelson founded Minerva Project in April 2012. In 2021 it gained independent accreditation and became Minerva University. It now works with universities that serve more than 120,000 learners, including schools in Mexico, South Korea, Hawaii, and Connecticut. That accreditation step matters: it let a company built to reform universities become one itself.
