General information

RBC Bearings makes precision roller bearings and engineered bearing parts. Its customers work in aerospace, defense, aviation, and industrial markets. The company makes airframe control ball bearings for aircraft, and self-lubricating bearings under the Fiberglide brand. RBC Bearings is based in Oxford, in the United States.

RBC Bearings was founded in 1919. It trades on the stock market under the symbol RBC. In 2021 it bought ABB's DODGE Mechanical Power Transmission Business, and in 2023 it acquired Specline, Inc. Over a century, this bearings maker grew partly by buying other parts makers, not only by building its own.1
