Risepoint is an education technology company that partners with universities to expand access to workforce-focused online degree programs. It handles marketing and student recruitment, student support and retention, and faculty support for its university partners. It also builds technology implementations and studies student return on investment. It works with more than 100 university partners across 40 U.S. states and 5 countries.

Risepoint was founded in 2007 as Academic Partnerships, growing out of an effort to help a public university in Texas after Hurricane Rita disrupted its students. It now has 1,500+ employees across the U.S., UK and Australia, and has launched 25,000+ courses supporting 22,000+ faculty members. About 95% of the students on its partner platforms are working adults, with an average payback time of 1.5 years, a sign of who the company's work actually reaches.¹
