Ro is a telehealth platform. It diagnoses patients online and then prescribes and delivers treatment. Doctors on Ro treat weight loss with GLP-1 medications, hair loss and other sexual health issues, and offer at-home lab testing. Ro works across the United States. It is based in New York.
Ro was founded in October 2017 by Zachariah Reitano, Saman Rahmanian, and Rob Schutz. In 2021, it raised $500 million in a funding round that valued the company at $5 billion. Since then, Ro says it has completed more than 3 million patient visits, and it now runs telehealth, lab, and pharmacy services across the whole country.
