Its Electron rocket launches small satellites into orbit, Neutron is a medium-lift reusable rocket, and Photon is a spacecraft platform. It runs the most prolific small-lift launch vehicle in operation globally, with launch sites in New Zealand and Virginia.
Peter Beck started Rocket Lab in June 2006 in Auckland, New Zealand. It went public on Nasdaq under the ticker RKLB in August 2021 through a SPAC merger. It has completed more than 75 Electron missions, employs more than 2,600 people, and brought in $602 million in revenue in 2025.
