Sectigo
27 open jobsGeneral information
Sectigo provides a platform for managing digital certificates, based in Scottsdale, United States. It automates the issuance, renewal, and management of SSL and TLS certificates for large organizations. Its products include TLS/SSL certificates, the Sectigo Certificate Manager, code signing, and email security tools such as S/MIME. Its customers are companies that need to secure websites and online systems.
Sectigo traces back to Comodo Group, founded by Melih Abdulhayoğlu in 1998. It was rebranded from Comodo CA to Sectigo in 2018. GI Partners has owned the company since 2020, after buying it from Francisco Partners. It has issued more than 1 billion certificates to over 700,000 customers, including 65% of the Fortune 500. That last number matters: most of the world's largest companies rely on this one certificate provider.
