Sensia is an automation company for the energy industry, based in Houston, United States. It says it is the industry's first digitally enabled, integrated automation solutions provider. Sensia helps energy firms connect, automate, and optimize production. Its products include Artificial Lift Control Solutions, the Avalon Digital Platform, digital software such as Avocet and OFM, and intelligent measurement tools.
Sensia was set up in February 2019 as a joint venture between Rockwell Automation and Schlumberger, now called SLB. The company announced that the joint venture would end on April 1, 2026, with its business units moving to the two parent companies. That means the two owners plan to run the automation business separately again.
