Service Credit Union started in 1957 as Portsmouth Air Force Base Credit Union. It has grown into the largest credit union in New England, with $5.4 billion in assets and more than 380,000 members. It runs 52 branches plus 14 more at military installations in Germany. That reach, spanning U.S. states and overseas military bases, means staff serve both civilian and military members.1
