George A. Armington founded the company in 1933, after earlier founding the Euclid Company. Terex is a public company on the NYSE under the ticker TEX, based in Norwalk, Connecticut. Full-year 2025 net sales reached $5.4 billion, and the company has returned $2.1 billion to shareholders through repurchases and dividends since 2015.
