Tubi is an American over-the-top streaming television service that offers free, ad-supported access to films, TV shows, documentaries, and live sports. Its library holds more than 40,000 films and television series from more than 250 providers across approximately 200 channels.
Farhad Massoudi and Thomas Ahn Hicks founded Tubi on April 1, 2014 in San Francisco. Fox Corporation acquired it in March 2020 for $440 million, a deal that closed April 20, 2020, and Tubi now runs as a separate subsidiary. By August 2026 it had 110 million monthly active users, available in 11 countries with content in 34 languages.
