General information

U-Haul is an American company that rents moving trucks, trailers, and self-storage space to people who are moving homes. It offers truck rentals in six sizes, from 10 to 26 feet. Customers can also rent self-storage lockers or U-Box portable containers that U-Haul moves for them. Its Moving Help marketplace connects customers with local moving professionals. U-Haul is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

U-Haul was founded in 1945 by Leonard Shoen and Anna Mary Carty in Ridgefield, Washington. It is publicly traded on the NYSE under the ticker UHAL, through its parent company AMERCO, and the Shoen family still holds significant control. The company now runs more than 25,000 locations across all 50 U.S. states and 10 Canadian provinces. That makes U-Haul a large, spread-out network of small rental locations rather than one central office.

Currently, there's a total of 7 job openings at U-Haul. Over the last 30 days, 7 jobs were added and 0 were removed. U-Haul is an H-1B sponsor.1
