Twisted Tea, a malt drink, launched in 2000. Angry Orchard is its hard cider brand, and Truly Hard Seltzer, introduced in 2016, is its seltzer line. The company is based in Boston.
James Koch and Rhonda Kallman founded the company in 1984. It trades publicly on the NYSE under ticker SAM, though Koch keeps full voting control through Class B shares.
