General information

Cushman & Wakefield is a real estate services company. It helps businesses buy, lease, and manage commercial property such as offices, warehouses, and retail space. The firm works from about 400 offices in 60 countries and manages roughly 5,100 million square feet of space for clients. The company is based in New York, United States.

Cushman & Wakefield was founded on October 31, 1917, by J. Clydesdale Cushman and Bernard Wakefield, who were brothers-in-law. It merged with DTZ in 2015, and an investor group led by TPG, PAG, and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan now owns the majority stake. It has also traded as a public company on the NYSE under the ticker CWK since August 2, 2018. In 2023 it had about 52,000 employees and $9.49 billion in revenue. That is a long way from a firm started by two brothers-in-law in 1917.

Currently, there's a total of 2,046 job openings at Cushman & Wakefield. Over the last 30 days, 3,817 jobs were added and 1,872 were removed (job postings usually stay up ~12 days before being removed). Historically, the median salary is ~$105,500.1
