The Store Intelligence Platform gives retailers a unified view of inventory. The company is based in Zürich, Switzerland.
Scandit was founded in 2009 by three doctoral students at ETH Zurich. Its technology now runs on more than 170 million active devices and processes 80 billion scans a year for more than 2,100 customers. In 2022 the company raised 150 million dollars in a Series D round, passing a valuation of 1 billion dollars. That mix of scale and funding gives engineers real production traffic to build against, not prototypes.
