Casper Sleep was founded on April 22, 2014 by five entrepreneurs: Philip Krim, Neil Parikh, T. Luke Sherwin, Jeff Chapin and Gabe Flateman. The company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2022 under the ticker CSPR. In October 2024, Carpenter Co., a foam manufacturer, bought Casper.
