T-Mobile is a wireless telecom company based in Bellevue, United States. It sells unlimited cellular plans, 5G service, home internet, tablets, smartwatches and accessories.
T-Mobile started in 1994 as VoiceStream Wireless PCS, founded by John W. Stanton. Deutsche Telekom owns 53.1% of the company, and T-Mobile trades on Nasdaq as TMUS. It merged with MetroPCS in 2013 and Sprint in 2020, becoming the second-largest wireless carrier in the U.S. It now has about 75,000 employees and made $88.3 billion in revenue in 2025. That matters: Deutsche Telekom's majority stake means a foreign parent company controls key decisions at one of the biggest U.S. carriers.
Currently, there's a total of 2,012 job openings at T-Mobile. Over the last 30 days, 2,328 jobs were added and 3,179 were removed (job postings usually stay up ~15 days before being removed). Historically, the median salary is ~$220,260. T-Mobile is a top-tier H-1B sponsor.1

- 1. Company description. Written by InterviewOS from T-Mobile's public materials and press coverage; facts are checked against the sources below.
- 2. Weekly counts. A count is the number of listings the pipeline saw for the first time in that week. Weeks begin Monday; the onboarding week is excluded from the scale and every average.
- 3. Live counts. Deduplicated live listings observed daily on T-Mobile's own hiring system; last check September 12, 2026. Stale and syndicated posts on aggregator sites are not counted.
- 4. Posted pay. Ranges extracted from the text of T-Mobile's own listings; a range appears only when the employer printed one. Extraction is still rolling out, so this table can lag the board.
